The AEPT is a training programme available to coaches, therapists, facilitators, HR professionals, OD practitioners, and human development specialists. It offers a comprehensive, certified programme that develops people from novice Enneagram practitioners to skilled professionals able to work in the one-on-one, team, and group facilitation space with the Enneagram (within the scope of practice). Aephoria has been an International Enneagram Association school for the past number of years and the certification forms part of our offering as an IEA school.

The  AEPT consists of four three-day modules covering the Enneagram, the Enneagram, and maturity, using the Enneagram for teamwork and facilitation using the Enneagram and Maturity. These are described separately below.

For practitioners that want to use the Aephoria Identity Map (AIM) tool that is not interested in the full AEPT, the following modules apply:

• Experience Enneagram practitioners can do a 1-day conversion module instead of doing the 3-day module 1 programme. This gives you access to the Enneagram part of the AIM assessment and Enneagram reports.
• New practitioners need to do the 3-day module 1 training to get access to the Enneagram part of the AIM assessment and Enneagram reports. 
• All practitioners need to complete the Level 2 training to get access to the Identity Maturation framework (IMF) part of the assessment. This gives the practitioner access to the IMf only parts and integrated Enneagram and IMf report options.

Modules can be attended separately or across calendar years. 

Learning outcomes and objectives: 

1. Developing and growing practitioners’ relationship with the Enneagram in their own development and practice
2. Build solid, mature, and integrated ways of working with clients when introducing and working with the Enneagram
3. Introduce the relationship between horizontal and vertical development
4. Move the Enneagram conversation beyond typing and into identity expansion, working with stuckness, maturation, and leadership development
5. Build sensitivity and skill that supports using the Enneagram within different contexts
6. Introduce the application of the Enneagram to address team dynamics and support team effectiveness in team coaching
7. Establish the necessary technical understanding of the AIM tool to ensure confident application of the tool when working with clients

Course outline:

Level 1: The Enneagram

• Online assessment and feedback on Enneagram part of the assessment with Aephoria coach
• Identification of 2 case studies 
• Attendance at 3-day training course introducing the Enneagram and the ethics of working with the Enneagram
• Assignment – completion of feedback sessions and submission of verbatim with commentary
• Level close out coaching sessions
• Supervision – online group supervision once a month for 2 hours

Level 2: Enneagram and Maturity

• Feedback on maturity part of the assessment with Aephoria coach
• Identification of 2 case studies 
• Attendance at a 3-day training course on vertical development and identity maturation
• Assignment – completion of feedback sessions and submission of verbatim with commentary
• Level close out a coaching session
• Supervision – online group supervision once a month for 2 hours

Level 3: Working with teams

• One-on-one coaching session to surface experience and areas of development with regards to teams/group dynamics
• Identification of 1 case study group (minimum 4 people)(can be online)
• Attendance at 3-day online training course scaling Enneagram dynamics into a team environment
• Assignment – Group session description from recording with commentary on successes and areas of development 
• Level close out a coaching session
• Supervision – online group supervision once a month for 2 hours

Level 4: Enneagram as a gateway to facilitation

• One-on-one coaching session to surface experience and areas of development with regards to teams/group dynamics
• Identification of 1 case study group (minimum 4 people)(can be online)
• Attendance at 3-day online training course looking at how to teach and facilitate the Enneagram for others, including using the Enneagram to understand own facilitation style and development areas
• Assignment – Group session description from recording with commentary on successes and areas of development 
• Supervision – online group supervision twice a month for 2 hours
• Final closeout coaching session
